GLBT Activities in Los Angeles

Arriba! Ski and Snowboard Club
Association for gay and lesbian skiers and snowboarders. Organizes winter trips to Southern California winter sports venues and ski resorts in Northern California, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Canada, France, Japan, and Italy. Outside the ski season the club visits Yosemite National Park and the Hollywood Bowl and organizes outings such as bicycle rides, white water rafting trips, hot air ballooning, bowling night, and other activities.

Celebration Theatre
Theater group dedicated to presenting innovative, provocative, and relevant works that examine the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and queer experience. Their performance space is located at 7051 Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Different Spokes of Southern California
Cycling club founded in 1983 to promote road cycling and mountain biking among members and friends of the Southern California gay and lesbian community.

Gay and Lesbian Sierrans

Los Angeles chapter of the Golden State Gay Rodeo Association, an organization associated with the International Gay Rodeo Association.

Greater Los Angeles Softball Association
Slow pitch softball league for beginning to advanced gay and lesbian players. Has men's and women's divisions and more then 50 teams.

Los Angeles Blades Ice Hockey Team
Ice hockey team for beginning and intermediate gay and lesbian players in the Los Angeles area. Founded in 1985. The team participates in the Gay Games and other events.

Los Angeles Tennis Association
Gay and lesbian tennis organization based in Los Angeles that was founded in 1978. Has more then 600 members.
