Elysian Park
Elysian Park is one of the largest city parks in Los Angeles,
second only to Griffith Park. It is about 575 acres in size
and it is located at 835 Academy Drive in Downtown Los Angeles.

Elysian Park is also the home of the Los Angeles Police Academy and the Barlow Respiratory Hospital. The park was established in 1886 by the city of Los Angeles who renamed the area from rock Quarry Hills to Elysian Park.
