Instituto Cultural Mexicano

The Instituto Cultural Mexicano - Mexican Cultural Institute - is located in the Biscailuz Building at 125 Paseo de la Plaza at the corner of Olvera Street and the main square of El Pueblo de Los Angeles. The institute was established in 1990 with the goal of "fostering and enhancing, through cultural exchange, the understanding and communication between the peoples of Mexican and the United States" with a special emphasis on the city of Los Angeles, which has more people of Mexican descent than any other city in the world outside of Mexico city.
