Big Sycamore Canyon Campground (PDF)
Located inside Point Magu State Park.

Castaic Lake State Recreational Area Campground
Castaic Lake State Recreation area is an 8,700 acre lake park with camping sites on its lower lagoon for campers, trailers, and larger recreational vehicles, and there are also a few sites suitable for tent camping. The campground is located near boating, swimming, and fishing areas but hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails are a short drive away. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 661-257-4050.

Leo Carrillo State Park Campgrounds
This state park in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area has a 135 site campground, four hike-or-bike-in tent spaces, and camping space for groups of 10 to 50 people. For reservations or more inforamtion call 805-488-5223.

Point Magu State Park Campgrounds
This park int he Santa Monica mountains has about five miles of ocean shorline, two river canyons, grassy valleys, and about 70 miles of hiking trails. Point Magu Statwe Park also has several campgrounds, including drive-in camp sites for tents or recreational vehicles and several hike-in or bike-in campsites. There are also several group sites that can accommoation 10 to 50 people. For reservations or more inforamtion call 805-488-5223.

Malibu Creek State Park Campgrounds
The Malibu Creek Family Campgroun inside Malibu Creek State Park has more then 60 campsites for tents or recreational vehicles, flush toilets, and showers. Group camping is also available for 10 to 60 people. For reservations or more inforamtion call 818-880-0367.

Topanga State Park Campgrounds
Topanga has a hike-in backcountry campground called "Musch Camp" with eight tent spaces, flush toilets, and drinking water. For reservations or more information call 310-455-2465.

Decker Canyon Group Campground
The Los Angeles City Recreation and Park District operates this group campground in the Santa Monica Mountains. For reservations or more inforamtion call 213-485-4853.

Camp Williams Resort Campground
Rural mountain park on the east fork of the San Gabrial River. Tent camping sites are located on the riverfront and each site has its own picnic table. The campground also has recreational vehicle sites with full hook-ups and one small camping cabin with front and side porches that sleeps up to four people. Camp Williams is located northeast of Los Angeles in the city of Azusa.
